Course Introduction

This programme is aimed at students seeking to understand and work as a legal expert in the area of multinational corporations, and covers laws on business structure, corporate process, taxation, intellectual property, dispute resolution and legal aspects of international finance. This course offers the appropriate experience for those looking for a career in the global economy within international corporations, investment banks, accounting firms, international law firms, international consultants and international fund management. You will acquire the necessary knowledge and understanding of the legal regulations of international and national business and finance, and employment law.

Course Modules

Modules include: International commercial law; legal aspects of international finance; laws on international business structures; international commercial arbitration and mediation; research methodology; dissertation.

Course Additional Entry

An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification with appropriate law content; students with 3 years' legal or relevant commercial work experience may be considered subject to interview; applicants with extensive work experience are considered on a case by case basis; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or above, at a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components, TOEFL internet'based test 90 or above, Pearson PTE Academic 58 or above, or an equivalent secure English language test.
