Course Introduction

This course offers the opportunity to study theology in depth; the course is rigorous and inclusive, and has a strong this'worldly focus; it places an emphasis on thinking through the place of theology in the contemporary world based upon its traditional resources; there is a compulsory module on revelation and reason; the course is suitable for those who wish to carry out research in theology or pursue a career in teaching, journalism or the church.

Modules include: Philosophical theology; biblical theology; practical theology; historical theology; ethics and the arts; doctrine.

Course Additional Entry

A minimum 2.1 Honours degree in theology; religious studies; related disciplines, or other relevant qualifications/experience; US applicants need GPA 3.3 or above; applicants without experience in the field should consider the graduate diploma, which is especially designed to ease the transition from another subject.
