Course Introduction

This programme touches upon philosophical issues of religious pluralism and diversity, political questions about multiculturalism and social cohesion, more ethical questions about inter'personal relations and religiously inspired violence, as well as theological questions about the nature and limits of the language people of faith use to talk about God, human destiny and the world; it builds on the existing MA in Christianity and Inter'religious relations.

Course Modules

Modules include: Research skills in theology; muslim'christian relations; christian relations with hinduism and buddhism; christianity in dialogue; applicants may choose 1 alternative module from an ma programme, by agreement; dissertation

Course Additional Entry

An Honours degree (2.1 or above) in theology and/or religious studies; for applicants whose 1st language is not English, the College requires: IELTS score of at least 6.5, with no less than 6.5 in each of listening, speaking, reading and writing; TOEFL internet based test score of 92 with no less than 23 in each of listening, speaking, reading and writing; Pearson Test of English Academic score of 60 overall with no less than 55 in any component.
