Course Introduction

The programme seeks to develop students' creative abilities to a high professional standard, preparing them for employment in increasingly dynamic film and media sectors, and to facilitate film projects that foreground the importance of practice'based research, expertise and experimentation.

Course Modules

Modules include: Cinematography; post'production; filmmaking; cinematic exploration; project.

Course Additional Entry

Applicants should have a minimum degree class of 2.1 or equivalent (including experience of film production at Bachelors level; and at least 2 modules related to film production). Please note MA applicants must have experience of studying directing, producing, screenwriting or production design and MSc applicants must have experience of studying cinematography, editing or VFX. To apply to the programme, students must include in their application: A statement of 500 words outlining your individual creative and research agenda, and, a portfolio of your best creative work. (Perhaps an online video showreel, and/or a digital portfolio containing creative material relevant to their application.)
