Course Introduction

The course forms a conversion programme for graduates of other disciplines who wish to carry out research at higher levels in the fields of modern and contemporary art history and visual cultures.

Course Modules

The programme is both introductory and experiential, exploring and addressing chosen themes within an interdisciplinary context; central element is a core course introducing students to a range of critical perspectives that have shaped the history and theory of the discipline.

Minimum 2nd Class Honours degree, not in art history.
