Year 1: Elementary statistical theory; mathematical methods; economics B; elements of accounting and finance or introduction to abstract mathematics. Year 2: Probability, distribution theory and inference; further mathematical methods (linear algebra and calculus); actuarial investigations: financial; survival models; 1 option from: sociology; social psychology; population studies; statistics (including projects in applied statistics); mathematics or other approved subject. Year 3: Time series and forecasting; stochastic processes; actuarial mathematics: life; actuarial mathematics: general; regression and generalised linear models; stochastic and actuarial methods in finance.
