Course Introduction

BA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts invites students to work alongside our internationally respected team of artists and writers, providing a critically creative environment where they can develop their own practice. We encourage open and exploratory thinking while equipping our students with the confidence, experience and skills needed to play an effective role as professional artists on an international stage.

Course Modules

Year 1: Art practice (exploration); art practice (Exploration, part 2); introduction to study in higher education; introduction to theory. Year 2: Territories of practice; practice in context (exhibition); theoretical contexts; theoretical contexts, part 2. Year 3: Studio practice 3 (consolidation); dissertation and research portfolio.
