Course Introduction

This is a a specialist management programme providing a learning experience for executives and senior managers seeking to add the latest cutting'edge business and management theory to their portfolio of solid managerial knowledge and experience; it uniquely focussed to the fashion industry and will enable individuals to broaden their career beyond specific industry functions such as design, PR and buying in order to achieve more strategic senior'management roles; during the programme students will be able to enhance their problem solving, analytical and evaluative skills by combining theoretical knowledge with the day'to'day experience of their role in the workplace.

Course Modules

Core modules: Consultancy project; global supply chain and distribution; socio'cultural, organisational and economic context of fashion; strategic financial management; consultancy project; leadership and strategic human resource management; strategic branding and marketing management; product portfolio management.

Course Additional Entry

A good Honours degree in a related discipline (2.1 or above) or equivalent qualifications; a minimum of 3 years relevant industrial experience. Exceptionally, applicants who do not meet these course entry requirements may still be considered if the course team decides that the application demonstrates additional strengths and alternative evidence. This might, for example, be demonstrated by: related academic or work experience; the quality of the personal statement; a strong academic or other professional reference; or a combination of these factors. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 7.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in any 1 skill.
