The course provides graduates and professionals with an engineering background in the built environment (civil engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, contractors and consultants) with the knowledge and skills needed for a rewarding management career in the infrastructure construction industry. The course includes a significant proportion of management modules delivered by academic staff members of Cass Business School, complemented with modules delivered by senior professional engineers heavily involved in addressing the practical aspects of planning, financing and delivering large scale civil engineering projects in industry.
Modules include: Organisational behaviour and human resource management; operations and information management; corporate governance; advanced practice of management; corporate social responsibility; leadership and management skills; information communication technology for construction management; international construction contracts and arbitration; project planning and management; project funding and finance.
Course Additional Entry
An Honours degree (2.2 minimum) in civil engineering, architecture or a related construction subject; international applicants must have IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 100.
