Course Introduction

This programme is designed for those who wish to build on their undergraduate studies to develop their skills as professional musicians, both performers and composers; it aims to equip students with the necessary musical skills, insight and and experience required by the contemporary profession in its widest sense but with a focus on the western classical and jazz traditions; successful completion of this programme of study can lead to 1 of 4 Master's awards: MMus (Performance), MMus (Composition), MMus (Creative practice) or MMus (Jazz).

Course Additional Entry

Applicants require a good 2.1 pass in a BMus (Hons); or an equivalent qualification such as a Performer's Diploma (LTCL, LRAM, LRSM, ARCM); other equivalent qualifications and/or relevant prior experience may be considered; audition.
