Course Introduction

The History of Art degree provides students with a general grounding across the broad field of courses covering Africa, pre'Islamic and Islamic Near and Middle East, South Asia, South East Asia and North East Asia (China, Japan and Korea). At SOAS the study of Persian can be combined with an unparalleled range of disciplines and languages. All combined'honours degrees in Persian expose students to at least three years' intensive study of Persian language.
