Course Introduction

Research interests of staff include: the interactivity of physical and metaphysical space in performance; performance training and physical theatre; methodologies of rehearsal; performance praxis: theories of acting, history of acting and directing, systems of actor training; Russian drama and theatre from 1830 to the present day; Irish theatre; cultural policy; theatre and Facism; African theatre; contemporary Black British writing; drama and theatre in education; 20th'century directors and mise en scene.

Course Additional Entry

1st degree of at least Upper 2nd Class standard/Master's degree in an appropriate subject; graduates in an unrelated field may be considered subject to qualifying examination; non'native English speakers need a minimum score of 7.0 in IELTS.
