Core element consists of series of lectures providing survey of the history of art from antiquity to present day; these also introduce approaches and methods used in the discipline.
Optional modules: Northern art of the 15th'century; architecture in 15th'century Italy; art in France 1900'1939; cathedrals in context: art and architecture of the great church in England c.1170'1350; 17th'century art in Italy, Spain and France; histories of 20th'century art; American art c.1945'72.

Degree, usually a 2.1 in a humanities subject. candidates from unrelated disciplines and those with equivalent professional qualifications are also considered.
