Course Introduction

This pathway is designed to equip all health professionals working with patients who have diabetes mellitus either in specialist or primary care settings with the knowledge and skills they need to provide effective care; the pathway provides training in research methods and the methods of evidence'based healthcare; through this training students produce a systematic review of a diabetes'specific topic and undertake a substantial research or service development project relevant to their own area of practice.

Course Additional Entry

Applicants should be working in a practice role which involves regular patient/client contact; the entry requirement for graduate study is a good Honours degree (2nd Class Honours or equivalent); applicants with other backgrounds or qualifications, including those without a degree are welcomed.
