Course Introduction

With growing demand in Europe for lawyers qualified in more than one jurisdiction, this four'year double degree programme involves two years of study both at UCL and in Germany, leading to the award of a Bachelor of Laws degree from UCL and the Baccalaureus Legum from the University of Cologne.

Course Modules

Year 1 examples: Criminal law; property law I; public law; introduction to German law. Year 2 examples: European legal studies (with German law); European Union and human rights law; property law II; tort law. Year 3 examples: Study in Germany. Year 4 examples: Study in Germany.
