Course Introduction

By successfully completing the programme students will develop analytical competence allowing them to undertake further undergraduate study.

Course Modules

Modules may include: Introduction to economics; statistics 1 (half unit); plus one of the following: Mathematics 1 (half unit) or statistics 2 (half unit) or introduction to programming (half unit) or methods of geographical analysis (half unit) or reading social science (half unit) plus 2of the following: Mathematics 1 (half unit) and mathematics 2 (half unit); human geography; introduction to international relations; principles of sociology; principles of banking and finance; principles of accounting; world history since 1917; introduction to information systems; economic history of the 20th century; introduction to business and management; democratic politics and the state; introduction to modern political thought; physical geography: Fundamentals of the physical environment; common law reasoning and institutions.
