Course Introduction

This course is aimed specifically at students who wish to go on to do research at PhD level on some aspect of philosophy, it provides a foundation for further research in philosophy with opportunities to consider a range of philosophical topics alongside explicit and detailed training in the skills necessary for philosophical research.

Course Additional Entry

An Honours degree (2.1 or above) in philosophy; for applicants whose 1st language is not English, the College requires: IELTS score of at least 6.5, with no less than 6.5 in each of listening, speaking, reading and writing; TOEFL internet based test score of 92 with no less than 23 in each of listening, speaking, reading and writing; Pearson Test of English Academic score of 60 overall with no less than 55 in any component.
