Course Introduction

This programme is based on King's unrivalled expertise in the history of philosophy: It is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in which philosophy was at least a major component, who now wish to focus more narrowly on the history of philosophy, to provide a firm basis for subsequent research.

Course Modules

Modules include: Early modern philosophy; foundations of phenomenology; greek philosophical texts i: plato; greek philosophy i: plato; indian philosophy i: the orthodox schools; medieval philosophy; plus optional modules.

Course Additional Entry

A minimum 2.1 (or equivalent) Honours degree, in which philosophy will normally have been a major component.
