Designed for students whose 1st language is not English but who have been educated in English and wish to study at a British university; the programme aims to develop students academic study skills; in particular, writing, group work, and presenting; students also study a range of subjects that provide a suitable grounding for pursuing further studies at undergraduate degree; these include a course that examines the contemporary British culture and looks at Britain's historical links with the world, as well as courses in business, mathematics and computing.
Modules include: Business communication; computer fundamentals; foundation study skills; organisations and management; business numeracy; context and culture; 1 option from (computer fundamentals; principles of marketing).
