Course Introduction

By successfully completing the programme students will develop analytical competence allowing them to undertake further undergraduate study.

Course Modules

2 of the following: Introduction to international relations; principles of sociology; introduction to business and management; democratic politics and the state; introduction to modern political thought; plus 2 full units or the equivalent from: Any unit not already chosen above; introduction to economics; statistics 1 (half unit); statistics 2 (half unit); mathematics 1 (half unit); mathematics 2 (half unit); human geography; principles of banking and finance; principles of accounting; world history since 1917; introduction to information systems; economic history of the 20th century; introduction to programming (half unit); physical geography: Fundamentals of the physical environment; methods of geographical analysis (half unit); reading social science (half unit); common law reasoning and institutions.
