Course Introduction

The course focuses on developing students' understanding of media businesses and the global environment in which they operate. The course offers a variety of optional modules which are delivered across 3 schools within the university: media and performing arts, business and law.

Course Modules

Modules include: Arts management; intellectual property and media law directions in creative technology and digital media; working with the creative industries managing and marketing events; arts marketing brand management; creative communication strategy entrepreneurship, innovation and small business management.

Course Additional Entry

Candidates should possess a good Honours degree, or equivalent qualification, in an appropriate subject. Applications from candidates with other relevant qualifications and individuals with a minimum of 3 years' work experience are welcomed. Those without formal qualifications should demonstrate relevant work experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level. Applicants should have competence in English language and grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification. IELTS 6.5 (with minimum 6.0 in all 4 components) or TOEFL internet based 87 (with at least 21 in listening and writing, 22 in speaking and 23 in reading).
