Course Introduction

This course provides advanced study of Greek and Roman art and archaeology, with an opportunity to acquire technical skills provided by optional modules in papyrology, epigraphy and palaeography.

Course Additional Entry

An Honours degree (2.1 or above) in classics, classical studies, ancient history, classical archaeology or a closely related subject, or an overseas equivalent; some knowledge of Latin, Greek or another ancient language is a prerequisite; students who do not have a formal qualification in any ancient language may still be considered if they take at least a basic course before the start of their MA studies.
