Food and nutrition is a particularly topical area of study. The impact of what we eat on our health and wellbeing is becoming increasingly recognised by health professionals, the food industry and the general public.

Course Modules

Year 1: scientific skills; (bio) molecules; physiology and nutrition; foodology. Year 2: research methods; analytical techniques; advanced analytical techniques; food composition properties and analysis; human nutrition and public health. Year 3: project; social aspects of science; aetiology and clinical aspects of nutrition; advanced topic in nutrition; new food product development.
