Course Introduction

This is a traditional degree with a real practical emphasis geared to meet the needs of employers. We have a strong links with industry (regular site visits and guest lecturers) and through our Industrial Advisory Board (current members include: Atkins, Thames Water, Watermans, Hardman Structural Engineers, Morrish & Partners, SRK Consulting, London borough of Newham). Our degree has a very applied approach to it with some modules being led by industry. You can also take advantage of an optional summer placement or a more formal placement year and gain valuable paid work experience.
