Year 1: Concepts of health; springboard for learning; public health 1; public health encounters; introduction to social policy; introduction to health promotion; environment and health; understanding quantitative health data 1. Year 2: Health promotion; health need analysis; research methods; medical sociology; understanding health data 2; poverty inequality and social exclusion; options chosen from: environmental health, health assessment and measurement, health economics and social policy, foundation in family planning and reproductive sexual health or health care ethics. Final year: Key concepts in management in health and social care; tools for health management and social care; global context for public health; project; options chosen from: health policy and organisation, health care ethics, child and adolescent mental health development, contemporary issues in health care, drug and drug uses in society, health promotion, resource management, domestic violence, promoting sexual health, current issues in HIV and AIDS or influences in health and social care media perspective.
