This course gives students a grounding in the fundamentals of economics, sociology and human geography subjects whose literature demonstrates key links with the process of development.
Modules include: Introduction to economics; statistics 1 (half unit); mathematics 1 (half unit); human geography; principles of sociology; geographies of development or world development; macroeconomics; microeconomics; economics of development.
