This course offers a fundamental training in the principles of laboratory research methods and the range of techniques used to study the behaviour of oral tissues in health and disease.
Modules include: Molecular organisation of the cell; techniques in cell and molecular biology; the biology of oral tissues; cellular pathology; inflammation; general and oral immunology; oral microbiology; oral pathology.

A degree in dentistry or medicine or a BSc Honours in a biological science subject; students need to be proficient in English.
