Course Introduction

A French & Management degree in London with study across a range of French and Francophone language and literature from the Middle Ages to today. Management subjects include: economics, organisational behaviour, accounting, marketing, resource management and business strategy. The degree includes a year in a French'speaking country.

Course Modules

Year 1 examples: Core French language; introduction to French literature (compulsory); accounting and financial management; work, organisations and society. Year 2 examples: Core French language; the practice of translation (compulsory); principles of marketing; international business; death and desire (love in French literature before 1700); writing the self since 1700 in French literature. Year 3: Year abroad. Year 4 examples: Shadows of enlightenment; Flaubert; French feminist writing; Qu'b'cois fiction and film across the Canadian bicultural divide; applied economics; investment management; undergraduate project; strategic management.
