Course Introduction

This course is designed to develop creative conceptual thinkers, who can deliver ideas across media using a variety of methods. Students create moving image content for mobile devices and the web, and in every area of motion design and the world of moving image. As well as providing opportunities to engage with more traditional areas of moving image, such as short narrative film, promotions and branding, animation, motion graphics and broadcast design, the pathway also covers areas such as 3D projection and video mapping and CGI.

Course Modules

Modules include: technology issues; concept and prototyping; business and innovation; research process; major project.

Course Additional Entry

A 1st or upper 2nd Class Honours degree (or equivalent non'UK qualifications) in a relevant subject, or an equivalent professional qualification in a related subject area. Applicants applying directly from an undergraduate degree course without experience or professional practice must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the chosen subject area. For applicants whose 1st language is not English, an overall IELTS score of at least 6.5 is required, with a minimum of 6.0 in each section.
