Course Introduction

This BSc is designed to introduce students to a variety of scientific disciplines across the biosciences. The interdisciplinary nature of the programme means that the areas covered include anatomy, cell biology, developmental biology, genetics, immunology and infection, neuroscience, pharmacology, physiology and psychology

Course Modules

Year 1 examples: Introduction to human anatomy; cellular and molecular biology; introduction to genetics; chemistry for biology students. Year 2 pathway examples: Human genetics; immunology and infection; molecular biology; neuroscience. Year 3 examples: Laboratory'based research project; library'based research project.
