Brunel University London

Course Introduction

Our specialist degree provides a rigorous and traditional academic education along with a well'developed appreciation of the highly competitive and commercial nature of the automotive industry generally, and the fast moving motorsport sector specifically. We are professionally accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). During your time with us you'll have plenty of opportunity to put theory into practice. For example, the Brunel Racing FS student'led team has been consistently competitive in Formula Student UK since its inception and was placed in the top five UK teams at Formula Student UK in 2014, with top UK place in the acceleration event. We are also home to the Brunel Racing TT student team which enters the TT Zero electric motorcycle race on the Isle of Man each year, competing against professionals including Mugen and Parker Racing.
