Course Introduction

Research areas include: stem cell biology; regeneration and repair; cell fate determination and pattern formation; early development (e.g. fertilisation, gastrulation, embryonic induction); neural development and neural cell biology; neuroaesthetics; evolution and development; biological clocks; left'right asymmetry; cell signalling and signal transduction mechanisms; live imaging; cell migration; intracellular movements: endocytosis, exocytosis, RNA, protein, lipid and organelle traffic.

Course Additional Entry

A UK 1st degree in an appropriate subject awarded with 1st or upper 2nd Class Honours, or an overseas qualification of equivalent standard from a university or equivalent institution; or a recognised Master's degree.
