Course Introduction

Students study cities and regions from an economic, social and environmental perspective. The course aims to provide a common understanding of the various influences affecting the planning process, and to teach a strong set of research skills that will help planners in practice. These perspectives and skills will be applied to London and to a wide range of countries and cities through lectures, site visits, fieldwork and seminar debate.

A 2.1 Honours degree or overseas equivalent in relevant social science discipline or equivalent professional qualifications and experience. English language requirement for non'native speakers (TOEFL/IELTS).
