Course Introduction

The programme enables professionals concerned with education to reflect on their practice and to inform such reflection by extending their knowledge. Students will be made aware of significant current developments in contemporary pedagogical policy and practice.

Course Additional Entry

A minimum 2.2 Honours degree (or equivalent), plus PGCE or an equivalent initial teacher qualification; although teaching experience is highly recommended (especially when related to the subject focus of the MA the student is applying for), applicants with an appropriate academic qualifications are invited to apply; students with 60 PGCE credits only need take the core module, 1 optional module and the dissertation.
