Course Introduction

This programme equips individuals to handle diverse management responsibilities that require knowledge in finance, systems thinking, operations, human resources and the design and management of the supply chain; it balances academic theory with practical opportunities to demonstrate engineering management capabilities and deliver real solutions through assignments and projects.

Course Modules

Modules include: logistics and global supply chain management; manufacturing systems design and economics; quality management and reliability; managing people and organisations; project management; dissertation; systems modelling and simulation. Optional modules: advanced manufacturing measurement; sustainable design and manufacture; global manufacturing; robotics and manufacturing automation; financial management.

Course Additional Entry

A UK 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent internationally recognised qualification in an engineering, science or technology discipline; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all areas); TOEFL paper'based test 550 (with a minimum of 4 in the test of written English); TOEFL internet'based test 79 (with a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing); Pearson 51 (with a minimum of 51 in all areas); or BruneELT 60 per cent (with a minimum of 55 per cent in all areas).
