Year 1 examples: Europe from 1793 To 1991 (optional); European history 400 ' 1500 (optional); French narrative texts (an introduction) (optional); introduction to comparative literature (methods) (optional); introduction to film studies (forms) (optional); introduction to modern Spanish culture I (optional). Year 2 examples of major subjects: Byzantine studies; classical art and archaeology; comparative literature; English; film studies; French; German; Hellenic studies. Year 3: Continued pursuit of major subject.
