Course Introduction

There are a large number of employment opportunities for graduates with a degree from the School of Law and Social Sciences. This programme responds to employers' needs by equipping students with fundamental transferable skills. Therefore it will enable you to gain confidence in a large number of sought'after skills, such as communication, independent thinking and analytical skills, working as part of a team, organisational skills and time management. Following subsequent study at degree level, you will be able to seek employment in a vast range of organisations such as NGOs, charities, national and local government, education, social work and corporate management. Careers in consultancy, research and social commentary and policy are also possible.
