Course Introduction

Choose the Film programme at UEL and: ' Develop a detailed understanding of film and cinema and key production skills such as scripting, cinematography and editing. ' Use state'of'the'art technical equipment to advance your skills in multimedia, video, audio/radio, audio/music and photography. ' Get involved with Schema, a student film production unit which will help you gain valuable professional skills. ' Take advantage of UEL's Moving Image Studio and Research Centre, which offers a vibrant context for teaching, film shoots, guest speakers, symposia and screenings. ' Take part in work placements facilitated by lecturers with strong links to the film and television world and the festival circuit. ' Equip yourself with the skills to work in a variety of fields, including film and creative industry jobs, film journalism, administration, programming and festival work, and research.
