Course Introduction

The course provides an opportunity to graduates from disciplines other than surveying to convert their transferable skills and extend their abilities in a critical way to the quantity surveying profession. You will develop in'depth knowledge and understanding of procurement, construction contracts and their administration. You will acquire sound knowledge of construction economics and cost planning.

Course Modules

Modules include: Business consultancy; construction law; economics of construction; european law; european project; procurement and financial management; project management; sustainable construction technology; research modules; conference paper; dissertation or project.

Course Additional Entry

A 2.1 or 1st Class Honours degree; this can be in any discipline, although a related subject is an advantage; some experience of working in the industry would also be useful; interviews; applicants whose 1st language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.
