Course Introduction

This course explores the issues that are present in international relations.

Course Modules

Modules include: Major international journalism project; international institutions; global news analysis; news and feature writing; journalism issues.

Course Additional Entry

A UK 1st or 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent internationally recognised qualification in a social science or related discipline; applicants with a 2.1 in a non'related discipline in which essays are not a core mode of assessment (e.g. maths, natural sciences) will be considered on an individual basis; applicants with a 2.1 Honours degree or or equivalent internationally recognised qualification in a non related discipline but that have some relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis; applicants who hold a UK 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent internationally recognised qualification in a social science or related discipline with some relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6 in all areas); TOEFL paper'based test 580 (with a minimum of 4.5 in the test of written English); Pearson 58 (with a minimum of 51 in all subscores); or BrunELT 65 per cent (with a minimum of 60 per cent in all areas).
