Year 1: Concentrates on engineering science, modules include: introduction to materials; stress; structures; engineering applications. Year 2: Core modules: civil engineering; hydraulics; geotechnics; surveying; project management; computing. Year 3: Industrial placement. Year 4: Core modules: group project work; residential field courses surveying and geology; site visits; students specialise in areas such as water; the environment; building; transportation; advanced structures.
