Course Introduction

This course is a flexible, modular course developed to meet the needs of busy practising clinicians; each module is a stand'alone certificated course accredited for CET points; all the modules are of direct relevance to practising optometrists and are taught by experts in the field.

Course Modules

Modules: binocular vision; professional higher certificate in contact lenses; diabetic eye disease; professional certificate in glaucoma; professional certificate in medical retina; critical thinking in ophthalmic practice; primary eye care; paediatric optometry; refractive surgery co'management; vision in the aged; professional certificate in low vision.

Course Additional Entry

Candidates are usually UK registered optometrists; overseas candidates must satisfy all legal requirements to be eligible to practise as optometrists in the UK and should be registered with the General Optical Council.
