Course Introduction

The course offers students a firm grounding in the fundamentals of actuarial science, including detailed study of the mathematical and statistical techniques used in the insurance, pensions, and financial services industries.

Modules: Financial mathematics; finance and financial reporting; probability and mathematical statistics; economics; modelling; contingencies; statistical methods; financial economics.

Course Additional Entry

Minimum of 2.1 Honours degree in a subject with an adequate mathematical content such as mathematics, statistics, economics, physics and engineering; international applicants must have a score of 7 in IELTS, 600 in TOEFL 250 computer based.
