Course Modules

Year 1 examples: General and organic chemistry; physical and theoretical chemistry; inorganic chemistry; maths for chemists; integrated chemistry laboratory. Year 2 examples: Advanced organic chemistry; biological inorganic chemistry; advanced physical chemistry; analytical chemistry; chemistry in cells; structure and function of biomacromolecules; chemistry and biology laboratory. Year 3 examples: Chemistry of disease and therapy; computational chemistry; chemistry for tomorrow's world; nano' and biomaterials; gene cloning and expression; research project. Year 4 examples: Analytical science for industry; analytical toxicology; forensic science; bioinformatics; biopharmaceuticals; drug development science; pharmaceutical analysis and quality control; pharmaceutical technology
