Course Introduction

Not be confused with a Foundation degree, this course is designed primarily for the mature applicant who does not satisfy the requirements for entry to Year 1 of a degree course. The University Foundation course brings you to a level that allows you to study a degree of your choice in the business, arts, humanities and social sciences, and as such should not be considered as a free'standing course, but rather the preparatory year of a four year full'time course.

Course Modules

Semester 1: academic communication skills; it skills for business; quantitative methods. Semester 2: introduction to business studies; business, politics and society; introduction to European society and thought.
