Course Introduction

This programme is designed for those whose counselling experience is an integral part of their professional commitment in education; social services; management; health and community care; the programme emphasises psychodynamic processes; and provides students with an experience of professional development and academic training to enable them to work in the field as an established practitioner at an advanced level.

Course Additional Entry

An undergraduate degree of at least 2nd Class standard in a relevant subject, be professionally qualified in an associated field and have studied counselling at foundation level; applicants will also need to satisfy fitness to train conditions.
