Course Introduction

By bringing together design, production, and development, this course offers an exciting opportunity to engage with concepts and practices across a range of platforms, including web'based media, mobile applications, location'based media and emerging digital technologies. You have the opportunity to develop a range of skills, including creative design, interaction design, multimedia production and app development, as well as understanding the user experience (UX). We have a dedicated UX laboratory in which students test user experiences employing our innovative techniques. The Digital Media Design course is also enriched by industry collaborations, which allow our students to work with real clients and produce cutting'edge interactive and multimedia experiences. You will have access to the best equipment and facilities available, including a brand'new newsroom, Mac, Ludology and AV edit Lbs and a full TV and radio studio.
