Year 1: theory and context; opportunities, trends and ideas; professional context; communication and visualisation; the history and theory of architecture; understanding structures and materials; design skills and methodologies; using computer technologies and computer aided design, and 2'dimensional and 3'dimensional communications and representation. Year 2: artifact and element in environmental design; undertake increasingly challenging projects and specialist briefs; urban environment theory practice and computation; reinterpreting and reworking existing buildings; introducing new builds; understanding market factors; advanced computation; regulatory frameworks; dissertation preparation; debate and polemic. Year 3: contextual studies; dissertation; enterprise and entrepreneurship.
