Course Introduction

This programme will give you an international and cross'cultural view of the business world, and enable you to develop the skills and approach to lead people in a complex and changing environment.

Course Modules

Semester 1: Financial reporting; information technology for business; international business environment; international perspectives in employment; 1 language module and one elective module or 2 language modules. Semester 2: Management accounting; managerial economics; understanding business data; 1 language module and 2 elective modules or 2 language modules and one elective module Please note: some students may be required to complete a module in English language study. Semester 3: Macroeconomic analysis: a basis for international comparison; principles of international human resource management; principles of marketing 1 language module and 2 elective modules or 2 language modules and 1 elective module. Semester 4: Study period abroad linked to primary language study. Semester 5: Study period abroad linked to primary language study or study period abroad linked to a secondary language study or placement learning project. During the study period abroad students take specialist elective modules at their host institution. Semester 6: Business Strategy; International Business; 1 language module and 1 elective module or 2 language modules; business dissertation (continues in semester 7). Semester 7: 1 language module and 3 elective modules or 2 language modules and 2 elective modules; business dissertation. Elective modules: In addition to the core business modules, students choose from a range of elective modules.
