Course Introduction

This course offers a range of learning experiences and students are encouraged to develop rigorous academic critical faculties and to learn how to flourish in a range of environments; students must develop skills and strategies and take advantage of the research opportunities available, as well as the opportunities to see theatre and performance work and the production work that enables such work to take place.

Course Modules

Modules include: critical contexts (drama, theatre and performance studies); practices (theatre studies); performing research; Shakespeare in London; cultural landscapes; archiving practices, practising archives; sustained independent project.

Course Additional Entry

A degree, or equivalent qualification in arts related subject, and or 2 years relevant professional experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English, require IELTS 7.0; applicants may be required to attend an audition or interview.
